Lyn's Fundraiser for Refugee Assistance Alliance

I am proud to champion Refugee Assistance Alliance. I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that community support can have on a refugee's life. My mother Tung, was a Vietnamese refugee who fled during the Vietnam War in 1975.  I grew up with my mother and Kathy, an American woman who helped resettle my mother when she first arrived in the U.S. 

The opportunities and success that has been available to me would not have been possible without Kathy's support to my family - without support programs like those offered by RAA. I am a passionate supporter of RAA's work, and as Chair of the Board I know that this small organization makes a powerful impact in the daily lives of those we help.

Please, join me in raising funds for Refugee Assistance Alliance this Give Miami Day. Join me in being part of a community that works together to offer kindliness and relief to the terrified, shell-shocked, lonely refugee who are looking to make a home and better life for their families.
