Standing With Our Immigrant Communities

Hi everyone! I am sharing this fundraising campaign with all my friends, family, and colleagues. You have all had such a huge impact on my life with your kindness, support, and generosity. I would not be where I am without you today and from the bottom of my heart I thank you. 

However, while I wish I could sit down and take a breather, we need to prepare for the next few very challenging years ahead. This is particularly true when we think about helping our immigrant communities who are facing promised mass deportation, de-naturalization, and family separation campaigns. 

As you know, I work for the Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) which is a statewide organization driven by the fundamental belief that everyone in our State should have the ability to live, love, and labor without fear regardless of their immigration status. However, we can't bring this vision to be on our own and we need you now more than ever. This is why we are taking part in Give Miami Day, an annual campaign to raise funds for programs that provide immigrants free legal services, conduct pro-immigrant advocacy and community education, and run community protection programs.

You can be the change your immigrant communities need to live safely through a contribution during Give Miami Day. The power of your generosity goes even farther during this time as all donations are partially matched by The Miami Foundation. You can have an even larger impact by taking additional steps.
