The Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) is a statewide organization advocating, educating, and providing direct services to make Florida a true home for immigrants and all.

We focus on protecting and supporting immigrants who are disproportionately impacted by inequality, including individuals who do not have a regulated immigration status, immigrants victims of anti-blackness or homophobia, and families experiencing poverty.

We believe in the power of unity and understand that our strength comes from the people who stand with us. Our work is made possible by 5K+ passionate volunteers and a generous donor community.

Together we have won:

  1. Wage theft protection ordinances
  2. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
  3. In-state college tuition for immigrant youth
  4. Community ID programs
  5. Welcoming policies

We also helped to shutdown the Homestead detention camp for children and to drive CAA (private prison corporation) away from Florida

Our work exists in the intersection of love and justice, and being a part of FLIC means standing for the equitable world that we aspire and deserve.

By contributing to FLIC, you are joining a community that conducts transformational work and provides immediate support and protection to those who are marginalized while advocating for social change.
