Support Refugee Families to Rebuild After Hardship

For families forced to flee their homes, arriving to their safe destination is only half the battle.  

Refugee Assistance Alliance is committed to providing essential  services to help families rebuild their lives towards self sufficiency through welcome visits, English classes, continuing education, cultural orientation, financial assistance, job placement and socio-emotional support through teams of volunteers. 

Imagine leaving everything you've ever known,  your personal belongings, the recognition, credibility and everything you've worked so hard to gain because "Home" is no longer safe. You're a parent coming to a new country with small children and no other living family members. You work an entry level job for long hours, navigating life in a different language, trying to understand a new system,  working to survive on limited resources, all while facing mounting bills for housing, groceries, and childcare.

These families dream of stability, safety, and the opportunity to thrive, but the reality is often a lonely daily fight for survival. 

Individuals succeed with a network of people to guide, encourage, motivate and support them.
