Chelsea for Vocal Youth Miami

Three years ago, I joined Vocal Youth Miami. Being in Vocal Youth Miami completely changed my life. My school does not offer any music programs, so this afterschool/summer camp program is particularly important to me because otherwise, I wouldn't have an opportunity to do what I love. l love to sing and it is something that I want to do for the rest of my life. I was able to gain experience and improve my singing through Vocal Youth. I was able to make friends who had interests similar to mine and learn about my passion. Going to this music program quickly became my favorite activity and what I look forward to every week. Vocal Youth Miami has made me one hundred times more confident in myself as l've grown in my social and musical skills. Many of my happiest memories are with my friends and directors at our rehearsals or concerts. I've met amazing mentors and developed meaningful friendships that I will never forget. None of this would be possible without the help of our supportive donors!

At Vocal Youth Miami, formerly The Children's Voice Chorus, we are dedicated to empowering empathic, creative young people through the power of vocal music. Our goals are to remove the barriers that prohibit so many deserving young people in Miami to enriching music experiences.
