Many young people in Miami lack access to the life-changing benefits of consistent, quality music education. They also have limited opportunities to connect with fellow youth beyond their own communities. Providing these experiences is pivotal for them to learn impactful life skills, lead, have their voices heard, and help shape a brighter future.

Our Mission

Formerly The Children's Voice Chorus, Vocal Youth Miami empowers diverse young people with artistic and life skills through experiences in vocal music. United by their shared journey of discovery, youth from different backgrounds and communities learn to celebrate diversity and embrace the joy of self-expression through the power of creating, learning, and singing music.

Our vision is that all youth can use the experiences gained in our program to shape a better world by discovering and sharing their unique gifts and empathy for others.

Mission

Formerly The Children's Voice Chorus, Vocal Youth Miami empowers diverse young people with artistic and life skills through experiences in vocal music. By learning and singing in highly inclusive group settings, creating original music, and serving the community, youth find their voices, learn the value in others', and unite to create and find joy in self-expression.

Our vision is that our students, far beyond their time in Vocal Youth, will make the world a more beautiful place by sharing their unique gifts and practicing empathy and understanding toward others.
