Kieran's Fundraiser for RAA

The U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program has been in place in its current form since 1980 and has resettled an average of ~73,000 refugees in the U.S. annually. Refugees are some of the most heavily vetted segments of the population, but also some of the most vulnerable.

We support Refugee Assistance Alliance because we’ve been fortunate to live in a place where essentials like safety, housing, and food are things we can count on. Refugees arriving in South Florida face the challenge of starting over in a completely new place, often with limited resources. RAA, a small organization with a big impact, provides thoughtful, practical support that helps newcomers gain the skills and confidence they need to build independent lives with its focus on language skills, employment support, and education assistance. I am proud to serve on the Board of RAA and hope you will join me in supporting this worthy organization on this Give Miami Day.
