Amelia's Fundraising for Refugees

I am proud to champion Refugee Assistance Alliance(RAA). As a volunteer I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact RAA community support can have on a refugee's life. My father came to Miami as part of the great migration of African Americans. He lived with an Aunt, and later sent for my mother and four siblings. 

Without support programs like those offered by RAA in times like these, refugees of all backgrounds have little hope. I am a passionate supporter of RAA's work, and as a member of the Board I know this small organization makes a powerful impact in the daily lives of those we help.

Please, join me in raising funds for Refugee Assistance Alliance this Give Miami Day. Join me and be a part of a community that works to offer guidance and relief to terrified, shell-shocked, refugees who are also looking to make a better life for their families.
