Our wildlife, landscapes, and way of life in Florida are at risk. Climate change is driving a vanishing act across our state. From the disappearing habitats of the Florida Panther to the rising seas threatening our coastline, the time to act is now—before it all fades away.

The CLEO Institute is a women-led nonprofit, nonpartisan organization exclusively dedicated to climate education, advocacy, and engagement. We work tirelessly to inform and empower people to demand climate solutions that protect our communities, wildlife, and our future.

Did you know for every $1 we raised year-to-date, The CLEO Institute has mobilized $160 in public climate investment?

We have leveraged over $500 million in federal funding for climate solutions implementation in Florida.  Which will translate in over 1,220,000 metric tons of warming pollution reduced—equivalent to taking 290,362 cars off the road every year! 

But there is still a lot to be done.

We must continue pushing for ways we can reduce planet-warming gases and build our communities to be more resilient in the face of rising heat and rising seas!

• Empowering Resilient Women: Preparing women in underserved communities for extreme weather, including strategies for food security.
• GenCLEO Youth Network: Mobilizing the next generation of climate leaders who are driving policy change and pushing elected officials to take climate action.
• Climate Resilient Schools: Engaging students and teachers in climate justice and civic action through educational initiatives.
• Awareness Campaigns & Advocacy: From protecting our Parks to extreme heat, floods & hurricanes, we run powerful campaigns that galvanize public opinion, save people's lives, and call on the policy changes we need for a safer & healthier future for all.
