My Dream: Emotionally Healthy Children!

Hey there! My name is Ivanna a mental health therapist at Wellspring.

Did you ever go through difficult things as a child, and as you reflect now, wish you had a place to support you, teach you how to handle big emotions, and help you process so you can heal? If you answered yes, you probably would have loved and needed BOUNCE!  

BOUNCE is a program close to my heart because it helps children move forward when something bad has happened in their lives. It teaches them ways to cope with stress, fear, anger, sadness, anxiety, shame, guilt, and many more emotions we usually don't enjoy! We teach this in a fun, creative, and therapeutic way that not only helps them manage the big bad events in their lives, but prepares them for the little annoying bad things that happen everyday (i.e. losing our phone or keys, breaking a nail, running out of milk!). BOUNCE is so special because we see God's transformative work happen in every child every single time! I am always amazed and hopeful that each year we will be able to serve more kids than the year before and YOU can help us achieve this goal!! BOUNCE is FREE to Miami-Dade residents because of people like you who give and grants provided by the county, given by people who believe in the work we do and have seen the positive results! Help me, gather funds that will pave the way for our children to heal from their traumas, so they can become healthy, brave, loving, and bright adults that will change the world!

Just imagine a world where your child, grandchild, friend, student, neighbor, etc. gets the help they need when they need it! Imagine a world where mental health comes first and where asking for help is a sign of strength!
