Every Saturday a group of people gather in the KB farmers market to gather food scraps. If this organic waste went to landfills it would generate methane, which is a gas that contributes to global warming. Instead, A Zero Waste Culture uses this organic material to create compost, which feeds the plants and helps the planet.
