A GIFT WITH REASON FOR THE SEASON

This holiday season, let’s come together to spread joy and make a lasting impact on children's lives. "A Gift with Reason" is a heartfelt initiative to bring cheer to those who need it most. With your support, we can provide gifts, warm meals, and holiday festivities to children who may otherwise go without during this special time of year.

The UM Linda Ray Intervention Center is a leading research facility and a flagship program for the UM Department of Psychology; our Center uniquely meets the needs of children with diverse abilities, prenatally exposed to drugs, and victims of abuse and neglect, including those who are homeless and part of the child welfare system.

We need your help supporting our community’s infants and toddlers, who are just starting on their journeys of hope for the future.   

How it works. Donations will be used for:

1. Gifts: A carefully selected gift that meets the individuals' developmental needs will be provided.

2. Community Meal: Parents and caregivers, including foster parents, will be invited to our first-ever onsite community Winter Wonderland, where holiday meals and snacks will ensure each family feels the season's warmth.

3. Holiday Festivities: Additionally, funds will support our holiday event, where children and caregivers will enjoy activities like crafts, games, holiday storytelling, kiddie rides, and more.
