The CLEO Institute has been important to me for a very long time.
When I think of CLEO, I think of:
Caroline Lewis, CLEO's founder and climate warrior who blazed a path in Miami when few were talking about the climate crisis.
Yoca Arditi-Rocha, a trailblazing leader who has expanded the work of CLEO across generations with GenCleo (brilliant!) and across our state with an energized team.
A grassroots climate movement to educate, empower and activate Floridians.
It is the only women-led non profit, non partisan Florida organization dedicated to climate education, advocacy and engagement. That is pretty amazing!
It is important for you to know that I have four grandchildren who all live in Florida. What kind of future will they have? What am I doing to ensure that I am helping to do my part for them? How can I work with CLEO to ensure their future and for generations after?
This is the challenge we face and the time is now.
