Help Support MORAES for Give Miami Day!

Join me in helping to support MORAES, a local non-profit focused on inspiring and retaining local marine ecologists. MORAES offers a streamlined path to get involved through applied research, publishing, volunteering and education outreach. Their goal is to protect our South Florida marine resources through collaborative community involvement and stewardship. MORAES strives to get members of the community involved in marine science regardless of background or education level. We believe that change starts from within, and that we as a community need to take the steps toward a more sustainable Miami. 

Currently, I am their Sea turtle intern and I am so grateful to be working with MORAES and thankful for such a wonderful opportunity to not only engage myself within the marine and research community but also to gain new experiences and skills to enhance for future purposes. Thanks to MORAES, I feel I contribute to protected our South Florida marine resources; and you can too! Any donations  received will go to funding outreach as well as equipment for things like beach cleanups, turtle surveying materials and native plant purchases.
