Sandra for Reading is a right, not a privilege!

I started The Lucy Project after helping my own daughter learn to read. Once she had what she needed, I saw clearly how many other children did not. I could not look away. Today, The Lucy Project provides daily reading intervention to hundreds of children in public schools, after school, and during the summer. We also train teachers and advocate for systemic change. We focus on the children most often overlooked and we stay until they can read.
