"The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons.” By that standard, Florida is in civilizational decline. Its prisons are getting hotter and conditions are deteriorating. The result is needless suffering for Florida's 81,000 prisoners, their families, and their communities.
It doesn't have to be this way. Please help FJI create a more human justice system. That will lead to a happier, more peaceful Florida for all.
