The Caring Place @ Miami Rescue Mission "Girlfriends 4 Girlfriends" (G4G) Volunteer Focus Group is built on three key cornerstonesG4G is dedicated to raising funds for the purchase and maintenance of safe, affordable housing for women and children recovering from domestic violence, abuse, and homelessness..

• G4G concentrates on raising funds to purchase and maintain Safe and Affordable Housing for women and children coming out of domestic violence, abuse and homelessness.
• G4G ministers to graduates of The Caring Place’s Life-Changing Programs in the Miami and Broward Centers. Graduates are visited, given housewarming gifts, and supported to stay empowered and encouraged on their new life journey.
• G4G also extends compassion visits to women in need throughout the community.

Thanks to G4G’s efforts, funds have been raised to purchase two housing projects—a tri-plex and a four-plex—and they are currently working on securing a third. The Girlfriends also host Housewarming Parties to collect new household items for graduates as they move into their safe, affordable homes.

• $25 will help sponsor 10% subsidy of utilities (water/electric) for a housing unit.
• $35 will help sponsor 10% subsidy of fees for a single woman.
• $65 will help sponsor 20% subsidy of fees for a single woman.
• $105 will help sponsor 25% subsidy of fees for a formerly homeless family.
