Breakthrough Miami is an extraordinary space where we have the privilege of empowering young people and cultivating a community rooted in kindness, opportunity, rigorous learning, and meaningful connection. These values, which deeply resonate with me personally, are authentically woven into every facet of the program and are cultivated as critical pillars of youth leadership development.

 I’ve witnessed the incredible power of this program to transform lives and help Scholars unlock their fullest potential. From its humble beginnings to the thriving, multi-site organization it is today, Breakthrough’s model has consistently delivered—demonstrated not only by impressive outcomes like 100% high school graduation and 98% college enrollment but also by the countless inspiring stories of achievement, friendships, leadership, resilience, and joy.

As a founding member of the Board of Directors, I’m honored to be a part of this journey to grow and sustain Breakthrough Miami and I invite others to join us in shaping a brighter, more inclusive future together.
