South Miami Children's Clinic- a community pillar

This fundraiser supports, South Miami Children's Clinic, who for 18 years has been a pillar in the community. My husband and I were referred to South Miami Children's clinic from the rave reviews by colleagues. It has been 8 years of exceptional care from Dr. Tina Carroll-Scott, who is both a parent and children advocate, and champion for reaching underserved communities and for those uninsured.

Dr. Scott has been featured in various media platforms, such as NBC, the Today Show, and the Miami Herald for her community advocacy during the pandemic. The South Miami Children's Clinic was featured for their work, as they set up pop up vaccinations events. The clinic continues to spread medical awareness on a number of topics.

Every visit, I am empowered as a parent. When I needed referrals for my son, Dr. Carroll-Scott got on the phone during our appointments and booked an appointment for us with that referral. Not only is she well connected with other providers, she is very resourceful in finding services for children who have special needs. 

You can easily connect with her via mobile app and ask questions and she responds immediately.  The level of care is exemplary.  Indeed, it is a VIP experience when you go to the South Miami Children's Clinic.
