Volunteers Make a Difference!

Every day at Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center, I have the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of horses in action. It’s an honor to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator, working alongside a team of dedicated individuals whose commitment to our mission is unwavering. Our volunteers give not only their time but also their hearts, showing up rain or shine, week after week, because they believe deeply in what we do.

From young children with special needs to veterans with PTSD, we see firsthand how each ride builds strength, confidence, and independence. It’s the volunteers who make this possible. They walk alongside our riders, groom and care for our horses, and ensure that every session is safe, supportive, and full of love.

I’ve watched shy children learn to smile and connect, witnessed veterans find peace and purpose, and seen families light up with hope. Every one of these moments is made possible because of the time and dedication of our volunteers. They are the heart of Whispering Manes.
