Teach a man to fish and he feeds himself and his family. Teach a man to grow his own fish and together we can stop overfishing of our lakes, rivers, and oceans. 

One of UGW's goal has always been Planetary Health in support of human health, well-being, and existence. Another goal is food security. 

We are looking to address several issues with this Aquaculture initiative. The best way to avoid the mistakes of the past is to create innovative solutions for the present and future.

UGW intends to bring Aquaculture da Hood. The goal is to grow out fish and begin works towards producing a local protein source that supports local economy, provides employment opportunities, and helps in protecting our Planet against further depletion of its precious resources.

We, humans, require these resources to exist and to continue we must now turn to efforts that protect these resources now and in the future.
