I am very excited to be a champion for Everglades Law Center for this Give Miami Day! Everglades Law Center is a nonprofit law firm dedicated to protecting South Florida's ecosystems and communities, especially those right here in Miami. 

Everglades Law Center provides the critical legal groundwork for restoration, preservation, pollution prevention, species protection, and climate resilience. Everglades Law Center works throughout the entire historic Everglades ecosystem– from Lake Okeechobee to Key West. 

Everglades Law Center's work has tangible conservation impacts. They have prevented the destruction of corals and protected critical seagrass beds for manatees and sea turtles. Right here in Biscayne Bay, Everglades Law Center works tirelessly to ensure a clean and healthy bay by working with NGOs, the local and state government, and scientists for effective stormwater policies and ordinances.
