The beaches and wilderness of Florida that I grew up playing in are disappearing. 

Our wildlife, landscapes, and way of life in Florida are at risk. Climate change is driving a vanishing act across our state. From the disappearing habitats of the Florida Panther to the rising seas threatening our coastline, the time to act is now—before it all fades away.

The CLEO Institute is the only women-led nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in Florida exclusively dedicated to climate education, advocacy, and engagement. We work tirelessly to inform and empower people to demand climate solutions that protect our communities, wildlife, and our future.

Did you know for every $1 we raised year-to-date, The CLEO Institute has mobilized $160 in public climate investment?

We have leveraged over $500 million in federal funding for climate solutions implementation in Florida.  This will translate into over 1,220,000 metric tons of reduced warming pollution —equivalent to taking 290,362 cars off the road every year! 

But there is still a lot to be done. We must continue building our communities to be more resilient in the face of rising heat and rising seas!
