Let's help MORAES

Currently at MORAES we are underway with three research projects: (1) Sea Turtle Nesting, the monitoring of marine turtle activity along Virginia Key’s shorelines, (2) Evolution of Darwin beach, the biological enhancement of a beach coastline that abuts the University of Miami Rosenstiel, and (3) Cetacean Aerial Survey Project (CASP), an experimental research project aimed to study wild populations of bottlenose dolphins in Florida Bay with the use of non-invasive, drone technology.

Projects such as these, along with our dedication to provide valuable educational outreach opportunities, require a multitude of resources. As a small nonprofit, we are always grateful for any/all donations received, but what we’re really looking for are longstanding partnerships with people and organizations that share in our environmental mission.
