The CLEO Institute is the only women-led nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in Florida exclusively dedicated to environmental education, advocacy, and engagement. We work tirelessly to inform and empower people to demand climate solutions that protect our communities, wildlife, and our future.

Did you know for every $1 we raised year-to-date, The CLEO Institute has mobilized $160 in public climate investment?

We have leveraged over $500 million in federal funding for climate solutions implementation in Florida.  This will translate into over 1,220,000 metric tons of reduced warming pollution —equivalent to taking 290,362 cars off the road every year! 

But there is still a lot to be done. We must continue building our communities to be more resilient in the face of rising heat and rising seas!

• Empowering Resilient Women: Preparing women in underserved communities for extreme weather, including strategies for food security.
• GenCLEO Youth Network: Mobilizing the next generation of climate leaders who are driving policy change and pushing elected officials to take climate action.
• Climate Resilient Schools: Engaging students and teachers in climate justice and civic action through educational initiatives.
• Awareness Campaigns & Advocacy: From protecting our Parks to extreme heat, floods & hurricanes, we run powerful campaigns that galvanize public opinion, save people's lives, and call on the policy changes we need for a safer & healthier future for all.
