Cardenas Family for Young Musicians Unite

Research shows that music enhances learning by supporting cognitive, sensory, motor, attention, and social-emotional growth. For my son, music has been life-changing—thanks to Young Musicians Unite (YMU), he’s gained lasting mentors and made meaningful connections that have given him a sense of purpose and belonging, profoundly impacting his life.  

YMU believes every child deserves access to music education. They partner with Title 1 schools across Miami-Dade County to provide trained instructors, lesson plans, instruments, and all the resources needed for vibrant, free music classes. Through their work, YMU inspires personal growth and builds strong communities.
