Juntos Podemos! MAC Scholars!

Dear Friends and supporters, 

My name is Blanca Carrada, and I am the Office Manager at MAC. 

I'm excited to launch this fundraiser on behalf of the Mexican American Council! This special fundraiser is to empower first generation Latino Students to pursue higher Education. MAC has a college club, a 12-month program that guides first generation latino students navigate the college system. 

First generation Latino students face unique challenges and hurdles that are all new to them. Many come from underserved communities and their families made tremendous sacrifices to see them succeed. These ambitious young individuals are not only breaking barriers but also setting a strong foundation for their families and future generations. 

Your donation goes towards educational resources such as one on one mentorship, guest speakers series, resume development, career exploration days, job training, financial literacy, workshops, community hours in which they can form networking within our own community. 

Your contribution, can have a profound impact on these young scholars and their families. Your support will make a lasting difference in their lives and the generations that follow. Juntos podemos !
