Education for the homeless

The Caring Place @ Miami Rescue Mission Volunteer Focus Group called REACH is built of volunteers and donors that help us provide education and resources to formerly homeless men in our programs. At our Jeffrey A. Tew Education Center we provide educational services including writing, reading, math skills, computer literacy, career readiness, continued higher education preparation, and other skills needed to have our formerly homeless residents REACH their God given potential.

Achieving a higher degree of Education equips our residents to exit homelessness into stable jobs and housing. 

During Give Miami Day we have a goal to raise $6,000 to sponsor 5 learning stations. We currently have 35 learning stations and each one costs $1,200 a year.
