Genesis Hopeful Haven (GHH) was founded to support foster youth who have faced significant trauma, including the loss of parents due to addiction, illness, or abuse. With over 22,000 children in foster care in Florida and more than 600,000 across the U.S., many experience not only the loss of family but also their homes, communities, and sense of identity. Constantly moving between placements adds to the emotional turmoil, leaving them feeling disconnected and unsupported.

GHH’s mission is to guide these youth as they transition out of the foster care system, providing a safe haven that nurtures hope, healing, and independence. By focusing on those aging out of care, GHH envisions a future where foster youth are empowered with the tools, confidence, and resilience to thrive in adulthood, ensuring they can build purpose-driven lives.
