Sis. Betty Mae Bush Crawford was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to several generations of grandchildren. Originally from Georgia, Mrs. Bush and her husband Rev. James Bush established their family in Panama City, Florida. Born to their union were thirteen children, with one (1) child passing shortly after birth.

Mrs. Bush and her husband were hard-working entrepreneurs who also had careers within the local school district. After retiring, they spent their time traveling, when they were not serving their community or their church ministry. In the early 2000s, Mrs. Bush was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Those who knew and loved her, were forced to watch her decline until her earthly passing on 14 December 2011.

In hopes that other families do not have to watch their loved one decline, the way the Bush family did, the life and legacy of Mrs. Bush will be honored with this fundraiser. In her memory and in honor of her 94th birthday, we wish to raise one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) that will be endowed to an institution specializing in memory care research and treatment.

For those who study numerology, ninety-four (94) is significant because it represents realism, global circumstances and concerns and the welfare of humanity. We desire to give back and would love to have your support of this inaugural event that we intend to host annually on Mrs. Bush's birthday. Thank you in advance for your support and trust in this exciting endeavor!
