Florida Health Justice Project advocates for healthcare access for health equity and serves the most vulnerable people in our state - low-income children and families who need access to healthcare. No one should go without insurance and the ability to seek medicare care but sadly (and thanks to our ineffectual legislature), roughly one million Floridians face that hardship! FHJP is one of the only organizations fighting to help people in this situation access care. Our advocacy has led to policy wins that have benefitted hundreds of thousands of people including pregnant women, new moms, and their children. As someone who grew up without healthcare, I know how important this work is.
Healthcare access is now even more at risk and we must do (and give) everything we can to protect the most vulnerable. Give Miami Day and our biggest fundraiser of the year! We have the opportunity to get a variety of prizes and donations matched by the Miami Foundation! As a Board member of this amazing organization, I ask that you support this important and much-needed work by making your contribution now.
Best,
Aidil
