Hi Family and Friends! As you all know the Miami Dade Bald Eagles are dear to my heart. A new season is beginning and we hope to see Ron and Rose successfully raise another family of eaglets. Here is Ron testing the nest cup for the eggs that we hope Rose will lay in the next few weeks. I am so grateful for the opportunity to watch the action on the nest cams that Lloyd Brown, founder of Wildlife Rescue of Dade County, continues to maintain. It's not just the eagles that WRDC helps and protects, but all of the other wildlife in their care that compels me to reach out to family and friends. I know many of you support various organizations that are working hard to make a difference for wildlife, and you know that I am a devoted volunteer and champion for WRDC. Early giving for the most important fundraiser of the year, Give Miami Day, has started! I'm reaching out to ask you to please join me in supporting this wonderful organization. I have set a goal at $1,000, but I hope that, with your help, we can surpass that. WRDC has been very busy helping, not only our local wildlife, but also taking in injured wildlife from other rescue centers in Florida that were damaged by the Hurricane Milton. Any donation you can make, large or small, will be matched, thanks to a very generous anonymous donor and The Ron Magill Conservation Endowment! WRDC can only do this vital wildlife work with help from the community. You have my heartfelt thanks!
