S.E.E.K. Foundation: SMART Tech Health Hub

The SMART Tech Health Hub is a pioneering initiative in Opa-locka, designed to bring transformative change to the local workforce through digital innovation. Housed in a generational building once owned by a local mechanic—Anike’s father—and now reimagined by his daughter, the current Executive Director Anike Sakariyawo, this hub offers a unique blend of essential health services, workforce development, and future-focused STEAM education.

This multi-faceted facility will provide basic health services, including general screenings, vaccines, and telehealth access. It also offers a re-entry pathway to the workforce, focusing on equipping residents with valuable STEM skills. Two floors will be dedicated to STEM education for youth, ensuring that the next generation has access to the tools and knowledge needed for the jobs of tomorrow. The hub will also feature high-speed broadband to guarantee uninterrupted services.

To bring this vision to life, we are hosting a fundraiser to support the following essential technologies and resources:

1. AI Self-Serving Kiosks (16 units, 4 per floor) - Interactive touch screen kiosks (Android 11, 20pt IR Touch) for self-service health and STEM learning.
2. Autonomous Delivery Robots - Model C robots to deliver medication door-to-door in a resilient, tech-driven community.
3. VR Headsets with Touch Controllers - High-performance desktops/laptops with NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics cards, RAM, and storage for VR/AR applications, Blender, Maya, and ROS platforms.
4. Technology Tables - 6-8' tables with worksurfaces for robotics and STEM projects.
5. Wood Cutting Machinery and Industrial Signage Printing Machine - Advanced tools for engineering education and entrepreneurship.
6. SMART TVs and LED Screens, Digital Heat Press, Gaming and Animation Equipment - Enhancing STEM labs with state-of-the-art equipment.
7. FUME Hood and Rotary Evaporator - For chemistry and advanced STEM experiments.
8. Medical Storage Cabinets and Soldering Stations - Supporting healthcare services and technology education.
