Over the last sixteen years, SFCLT has built in more cities than any other community land trust in the State with an additional 475 affordable units planned for South Florida. Recently, the organization received national attention with its equitable plan to build affordable, resilient communities near transit. We are currently working in communities of color to provide opportunities and in gentrifying areas to prevent displacement.
Mission
South Florida Community Land Trust is a nonprofit developer partnering with cities, for profits and nonprofits to build inclusive communities. We are committed to making prosperity equitably available to all by providing affordable ownership and rental opportunities. And then, in all of our projects, we use the community land trust model to keep housing affordable forever. Because, at our core, we believe everything important starts at home, and stable housing provides access to an education, a steady job, good health and a bright future.
