Founded in 1989, the Women's Emergency Network (WEN) is committed to supporting all Floridians in accessing reproductive healthcare services, independent of income or circumstances.
WEN's mission is to provide support and resources to Floridians seeking reproductive healthcare services.
Although Amendment 4 did not pass, we know that the majority of Floridians (57%) support access to abortion care. The horrific near-total abortion ban that's been in effect since May, 2024 has caused tremendous emotional, financial and logistical distress for our communities. For many, the number of hurdles that they have to overcome in order to access care are insurmountable.
Our organization is determined to ensure that every Floridian across the state can access the care they need and deserve independent of income or circumstances. The demand for support in Florida is immense and only growing. So far this year, we’ve assisted nearly 3,000 Floridians, spending close to $800,000 to help women access reproductive health care across the state.
