Our Foundation concentrates on keeping the money that is raised in the community by supporting The South Florida Fragile X Clinic at the University of Miami, Miller School of Health. Our secondary purpose is to support organizations that include children and adults with disabilities in their programs, as well as to fund medical research specific to finding a cure for Fragile X Syndrome.
Mission
Our mission is to help Fragile X Families in our community and to help fund The South Florida Fragile X Clinic so that families can receive quality and specialized care without having to travel. We act as host and liaison between families and the South Florida Fragile X Clinic. We counsel newly diagnosed families and help them navigate and obtain services. Host events, fundraising, and seminars pertaining to Fragile X Syndrome. Serve as a Parent Contact to the National Fragile X Foundation and FRAXA Research Foundation and work with other local organizations to promote education and awareness of Fragile X Syndrome.
