Why START is in need of remarkable people like you?
Due to redevelopment and skyrocketing rent, the decade-long mission of The START Program to strive to achieve the remarkable is at risk. Our nonprofit, which has been a beacon of hope for over 10 years, is now facing challenges to operate in the cherished community we've called home for the last decade.
Despite these challenges, our resolve to nurture the intellect, creativity, and dreams of our incredible local youth remains unshaken. However, we urgently need to find a new, affordable neighborhood space to continue our program, services, and support for our participants.

Striving To Attain Remarkable Teens (START) is a non-profit after-school program that provides community-driven, experienced-based learning opportunities to middle/high school students ages 11- 19 with a connection to Miami, Florida's West Coconut Grove who have financial and domestic hardships to develop character and academic skills necessary for lifelong success.
