Through our programs, our goal is to give all youth the tools they need to succeed in our society as they grow, as well as to promote strong families and the importance of great citizenship. We also promote growth through team bulding and our youth basketball program, giving children the opportunity to showcase their talents, travel to places they might have thought impossible, build their self esteem, know their worth and to be the most outstanding student athletes. At Teen Upward Bound we strive to ensure that no child is left behind.
Mission
The mission of Teen Upward Bound, Inc. (TUB) is to build strong families and to educate youth to reach their highest potential. TUB supports education by focusing on community, school, counseling, seminars, faith, and peer groups that give wings to goals, dreams, and freedom. We create a safe place for youth, teens, and their families by promoting self-worthiness and high self-esteem and by instilling positive, productive, healthy morals and values of life. Services Provided: Mentoring, Literacy, homework help, Social skills, Healthy living, physical fitness, sports camps, field trips, and STEM programming.
