Mental health services are delivered in our main facility located in Dade County; however, we facilitate the access to services by delivering advocacy and mental health services at victim's homes in Dade and Broward county. Currently, Survivors Pathway's home-based services program serves 70% of the victims assisted in the two counties where the institution offers its services. Advocacy services are delivered at the organization headquarters and the Miami Dade County eleventh circuit of the court, domestic violence unit. This process has demonstrated to be very effective in increasing access to justice to victims, reducing significantly barriers that historically have impaired the most marginalized members from seeking and successfully accessing resources around them.
Our mission is to facilitate access to justice, promote equality and inclusion through culturally-sensitive, psychological counseling and advocacy services to individuals and families from the LGBTQI and Latino communities survivors violent crimes such us of domestic, sexual and intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and other type of victimization.
