URGENT, Inc. is an award-winning creative youth development organization that provides asset-based programming that helps young people uncover and develop their talents and skills through digital media arts education, positive youth development, and STEAM Career Connected Learning. 

URGENT envisions a future where all children and youth have the social, economic, educational resources and creative space to thrive.

The organization embraces the learning philosophy that kids learn by doing, and that engagement in the creative process is a powerful force for innovation, growth, and transformation. The impact of cultivating young people's creativity leads to helping them to find their voice, tell their stories, and effect positive change in their lives, communities, and the world.

Our Future

For nearly 30 years, URGENT, Inc. has dedicated itself to empowering young minds and transforming lives and communities. Now, URGENT is set to launch Urgent Academy to build upon this legacy. The launch of Urgent Academy marks an exciting chapter in our journey. At Urgent Academy, young people will learn from entrepreneurs, industry professionals, designers, artists, and educators, as they work, solve real problems, and create and build the 21st Century skills sought after by today's creative and technology-driven industries.
