Riverside House is a private, non-profit organization that has been a cornerstone of community support in East Little Havana for over 40 years. As a co-ed residential reentry facility, we provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals transitioning from incarceration back into society. Our vision is to help formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate as productive, educated citizens with strong family and spiritual values, contributing meaningfully to a safer and more vibrant community.
We offer five core programs designed to support our mission: Residential Reentry, Homeless Emergency Shelter, Non-residential Support, Community Partnerships, and Spiritual Development. For more than four decades, we’ve been building stronger families and communities, and we couldn’t do this without your generous support.
2024 Campaign: Supporting Our Emergency Shelter Program
This year, your donations will directly benefit our Emergency Shelter Program, which provides critical support for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Since its launch in March 2024, the program has already served 70 individuals, and we’re just getting started.
How Your Donation Helps:
Your gift will ensure we can continue to offer comprehensive, 24/7 support to those in need, including:
More than just a roof over their heads, this program provides a foundation for individuals to rebuild their lives. With your help, we can address the root causes of homelessness, easing its impact on public health, the legal system, and our society as a whole.
Thank you for standing with us in this crucial mission. Together, we’re not only providing shelter—we’re transforming lives and strengthening our community.
Riverside House exists to guide men and women convicted of crime into becoming productive citizens through a nondenominational, faith-based approach.
