  • 28 additional cameras supported increased enrollment in the 8th-grade photography elective, as well as upper school courses in photography and yearbook

Athletics

  • 125 coaches – an all-time high – empower student-athletes at all levels on both campuses
  • 110 middle school student-athletes are taking advantage of newly renovated nearby field space
  • 12 Raiders went on to continue their athletic journeys with opportunities to play at the collegiate level last year

Faculty Support

Greatest Need

  • 6 Pathways launched in the inaugural Pathways Scholars signature program, allowing students to deepen and apply their knowledge with focused and advanced coursework, experiences and original research
  • 15 members of the REimagined College Counseling Office set the standard for college counseling at the high school level

  • 10th anniversary of the Ransom Everglades Climate Symposium (RECS), which showcases student research projects, art installations, and performances focused on climate solutions, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and environmental awareness

Technology

  • 10 professional community members within the Artificial Intelligence at RE Task Force continue to refine approaches to AI in the classroom, understanding that it is critical to teach our children – through an age-appropriate and thoughtful seven-year curriculum
  • 2 courses in the recently redesigned Digital Art curriculum and the Yearbook class use a dedicated digital lab at the upper school

Mission

Guided by the words of Paul C. Ransom, Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who “believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it.”

Ransom Everglades School prepares students for a lifelong journey of learning, the call to service, and the responsibility to lead in an environment that fosters academic and co-curricular excellence as well as social wellbeing.

The school’s caring faculty and staff empower students to explore their passions, discover their strengths, and develop their character so they can pursue their ambitions and lead purposeful lives.
