The Miami Fashion Foundation Student Scholarship Fund
The primary objective is scholarship support based on merit and need, and the scholarship fund is used to bolster students who are from historically underrepresented communities in fashion and design. This fund assists a variety of undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled, or wish to enroll, in fashion and design-related institutions of post-secondary education in South Florida.
The Fashion Fellow Fund
A secondary objective of The Miami Fashion Foundation is to establish a creative operation in Miami where sponsored fashion designers will be provided with workspace and given assistance to jumpstart their business through training, education, and business development resources.
Personalized for each sponsored designer, The Fashion Fellow Fund provides assistance to emerging fashion designers based in South Florida with product manufacturing, development of collections and selling to retailers and direct to consumers. Assistance will also be provided through a mentor program with industry leaders, business partners, product development experts, technical skill workshops, ecommerce, marketing, sales, promotions and any of the skills necessary to scale their fashion business successfully to the next level.

To open access to industry leaders by offering a platform of resources for business development and career advancement at all levels. We believe that providing a forum for professional development and career advancement unleashes creativity, innovation and advances the business of fashion.
Mission
The Miami Fashion Foundation provides educational and training support in the form of scholarships, workshops, and events for the benefit of fashion students and small fashion-related businesses in South Florida.
Created by Miami-based fashion executives, its main purpose is to foster, nurture, develop and promote Miami as a natural choice for the creative industries, focused on fashion, and to establish a creative operation and network in Miami for fashion enterprises and companies of all sizes to flourish and call home. Generating a highly skilled and networked fashion workforce will draw even more creative design students and professionals to Miami, thus creating a self-sustaining cycle, first through education and skill training, then with networking and mentoring, and finally with the founding of innovative fashion companies who have open access to industry leaders, resources and capital.
