Miami Children's Chorus, Inc.

We are proud to be celebrating 60 years of being part of the founding fabric of youth cultural programming in Miami-Dade County offering a quality choral music education and performance program. In that time we've grown our initiatives beyond choral concerts to include community programs and events, a new music commissioning program, recording, touring, and even a virtual choir!

Give Miami Day funds help support the growing vision of the Miami Children's Chorus, an organization that has worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for young people to develop as artists and individuals who can positively impact our future! MCC programs foster a spirit of belonging and a drive for excellence that instills confidence in youth - a confidence that permeates all parts of their lives and has lasting and significant impacts on their futures. Youth, ages 8-22, meet weekly to learn the necessary skills to be practicing and professional musicians, and also important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and commitment. 

In addition to scheduled season concerts, MCC collaborates and performs in a wide variety of musical settings. MCC has prepared children to record and appear with The Cleveland Orchestra, Florida Grand Opera, The Miami Heat, the 44th NFL Super Bowl, Paquito D'Rivera, Andre Rieu, Barry Manilow, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Nestor Torres, and Raul Di Blasio, and it has performed nationally and internationally in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Spain, and South Africa.
