Lost Girls Theatre has been telling the stories of awkward women of all ages since 2015 -- primarily through readings of new plays by emerging playwrights. We're particularly interested in under-told stories -- particularly those from a LGBTQ female perspective. Our first full production, Juliet Among the Changelings, was a young adult lesbian fairytale. In 2022, we partnered with the Incomparable Radio Theater to produce Where or When? an audio drama podcast featuring a bisexual heroine torn between two time periods. We want to continue producing audio drama, as it is highly accessible theatrical format.

In 2024, we brought you Not Taylor's Version: Play Readings and Dance Party, a theatrical event inspired by the works of Taylor Swift, and Tea & CreativiTEA, a place where creatives of all types can come together and work on their projects in collective peace. Because sometimes it's easier doing work together than alone.

We're actively working on a new podcast called Getting Lost Without a Stage Direction and bringing you other fun theatrical events in 2025.

Please donate to us to help us make that happen!

Mission

The mission of Lost Girls Theatre is to create a sense of wonder.

We plan to accomplish that through highly visual acts of storytelling that combine the mundane with the magical. Lost Girls Theatre focuses on modern concerns through the lens of classical themes and pop culture. We strive bring the excitement of unique and original theatrical performances to audiences both young and young at heart. Also general geekery.
