Larkins - Palmtrail, Inc

Palmtrail Inc. opened the Larkins Study Center in 2003.

Through the programs and reach of Larkins, over 500 women of ages from High School to retirement receive life coaching and orientation regarding professional and family life. Larkins' activities are tailored to the needs of each age group. For High School age girls, the marquee activity is a leadership program that covers professional and personal development for college preparedness, with speakers and individual coaching sessions, called The Gateway. College age women, as well as young professionals, are offered professional and leadership speakers series, as well as personal and spiritual development circles in small groups. In these groups, through readings, talks and conversation, they discuss aspects of ethics in the workplace and society, as well as their own roles in improving their environment. Married women also receive guidance, many of them in cities around the State of Florida where the dedicated staff of Larkins travels to hold meetings as well as individual coaching sessions to help them grow and be a positive influence on their families and communities.

Larkins Study Center is currently expanding its facilities due to the increased demand for its activities as a result of the large influx of women to the greater Miami area, coming from other parts of the US and from Latin America, who have a great interest in personal and professional development.

In the expanded facilities, the center will be able to host two or three activities simultaneously.
