Fountainhead Arts

Fountainhead Residency is an international artists' residency in Miami, FL that empowers artists to build a sustainable career and cultivates new audiences for the arts. Operating year-round, Fountainhead hosts three to four visiting artists for one month at a time. To date, over 550 artists from 49 countries have taken part in the residency. 

During each month-long residency, artists are personally introduced to nationally recognized curators, collectors, and gallerists for one-on-one studio visits, offering a one-of-kind opportunity for mentorship, insight, and perspective on their work. They are invited to experiment, investigate, and reflect, while being immersed in the local cultural landscape. Artists-in-residence receive roundtrip airfare, living and working accommodations and a stipend. They meet local artists and explore Miami’s major museums, collections and galleries. Attorneys, financial professionals and business consultants are available for critical entrepreneurial guidance. 

Fountainhead Residency's Open House, hosted at the end of each month, invites guests to meet each month's visiting artists, learn about their experience in Miami and see the work they've made. 

In addition, Fountainhead hosts a number of experience driven artist-led programs throughout the year through its membership program, which brings locals together over their shared interest and passion for supporting artists. Fountainhead's emphasis on community and connection ensure both artists and locals get to experience Miami from a dynamic new perspective.
