Everglades Outpost Wildlife Sanctuary

Everglades Outpost Wildlife Sanctuary is non-profit, 501(c)(3) wildlife rescue and a state-licensed rehabilitation center. After being founded in 1992, we have dedicated over 30 years to rescuing sick, injured, abused, neglected, abandoned and seized wildlife. It is our main objective to rehabilitate and release native Florida animals back into their natural habitats, however, those that are unable to be released have a permanent home at our sanctuary where they receive vet care, nutritious diets, enrichment, daily care and most importantly the love and respect that they have unfortunately been deprived of. We have become a valuable member of our community, providing services such as wildlife relocation, responding to emergency wildlife rescue calls, and on/off site educational programs. We are not funded and instead rely on grants, donations, and community support in order to continue our mission. We are currently a permanent home to over 110 animals including some as small as "Vision" (our baby American crocodile who was born without eyes) to some as large as "Chewy" (our nearly 2,000 pound dromedary camel who was rescued from a camel rancher.) These are just two of the sentient beings who call Everglades Outpost home!
