Cristo Rey Miami High School

Cristo Rey Miami High School is the only college-and-career preparatory high school in Miami exclusively serving hard-working students from low-income families. In July 2022, Cristo Rey Miami launched in North Miami, becoming the 39th member of a nationwide network of schools utilizing an innovative educational model that integrates rigorous academics with four years of professional work experience. We currently serve  students across the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.

This Give Miami Day (GMD) is especially important for Cristo Rey Miami.  GMD helps organizations like Cristo Rey Miami High School connect with our community and raise funds. Give Miami Day is the largest student-run fundraiser we do each year. This year, we are raising funds for the Scholars' Circle.

The Scholars' Circle helps bridge the gap between the cost of student's education and what they earn through our work-study jobs, Step-Up and their family contributions.

By supporting the Scholars' Circle, you are investing in each one of our students as they work hard to become prepared for success in college. That is what Cristo Rey Miami does for all the students, they become, college ready and career prepared.

Cristo Rey students are from communities underrepresented in higher education whose families’ economic reality restricts their access to a quality college preparatory curriculum. Our Corporate Work Study Program enables students to earn and pay for more than half of their tuition, gain valuable job experience, and graduate ready to succeed in college and life.

Cristo Rey students enroll in college at higher rates than all other demographic groups and are two times more likely to earn their bachelor's degree compared to their peer group.
