The Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation assists business and community leaders utilize the values and resources of their organizations to foster equity, diversity and inclusion within their employment culture; support strong sustainable communities; and promote effective public policy. It convenes and facilitates community engagement and cross sector initiatives related to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, diversity & inclusion, and financial literacy. It leads equitable development initiatives, including the creation and use of community benefits agreements, community trusts and other strategies to prevent gentrification and resident displacement. The CSRF sponsors community education events, conferences, CEO speakers series, employee engagement workshops, and diversity training. It publishes resource guides and policy research.
Mission
The Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation's mission is to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, Stakeholder Capitalism and Corporate Philanthropy. It seeks to find common ground between businesses and the communities in which they operate. The Foundation also advocates for ethical public policy, sustainable business practices, and Racial Equity within corporate organizations.
Corporate Social Responsibility encompasses not only what companies do with their profits, but also how they make them. It goes beyond philanthropy and compliance and addresses how companies manage their economic, environmental and social impacts as well as their relationships in all key spheres of influence: the workplace, the marketplace, the supply chain, the community and the public policy realm.
